Most people compare salaries using exchange rates.. That does not give a true picture. For example a €100,000 salary in Germany may look like ₹90 lakh in India. After taxes and rent you keep much less than the exchange rate suggests.
We built this tool to show you what you actually take home and what that money buys.
What We Do
You enter two job offers. Country A and country B. Our calculator considers:

- •Cost of living like rent, groceries and transport
- •Purchasing power parity
- •Visa eligibility based on your profile
The result is a side-by-side comparison showing which offer leaves you with savings.

Our Data
Salaries come from industry reports and verified sources like Gehalt.de, Glassdoor and local job boards. We get cost of living data, from Numbeo. Check it against local expat forums. We use government tax tables for tax calculations.
We update our numbers every year.
Why We Built This
We've all been there. You get two offers you convert the currencies. You pick the higher number. Months later you realise you're saving less than you would have in the country.
That frustration is what started this project. We wanted a tool that tells you the truth. Not the exchange rate.
